Oolong tea, sometimes known as blue tea, is partially oxidised tea, with the most known varieties growing in Taiwan and China. It is made from the Camellia Sinensis plant. The name Oolong derives from the Chinese term “black dragon”. Oolong is somewhere between green and black tea and it exhibits the delightful freshness of green tea and the malty maturity of fully oxidised black teas.
